Trip Overview

Pokhara is the most visited and natural city in Nepal. This is also known as the honeymoon city of Nepal for the romance it generates from its natural beauty. It is blessed with the stunning views of Mt. Machhapuchare and Annapurna Himalayan ranges and also with the city of seven different lakes. Most of the trekking in the Annapurna region starts from Pokhara that’s why it is a perfect destination for a day trips and more.

The Places Includes day tour:

David's Fall 

David’s fall is a charming little waterfall located about 2 km southwest of the Pokhara Airport on the Siddhartha Highway. Also located very close to David's fall is Gupteswar Gupha, a mysteriously sacred cave that holds special value for Hindus since a phallic symbol of Lord Shiva is perfectly preserved here in the condition it was discovered in. Locally, it is also named Gupteswar Mahadev.

Bindybasini Temple 

Bindybasini Temple is the oldest religious shrine in Pokhara built in the 16th century. The main shrine of the temple is dedicated to the Goddess Durga where Hindu worshippers flock to perform sacrifices, especially on Saturdays. 

Gupteshwor Cave

The revered Gupteshwor Cave is situated 2 km from Pokhara airport. The entrance is right across from Davis fall and the cave is almost 3 km long. It has some big hall-sized rooms and some passages where you have to crawl on all four. This cave holds special value to Hindus as a phallic symbol of Lord Shiva is preserved here in the condition it was discovered.

World Peace Pagoda

World Peace Pagoda, a massive Buddhist stupa, is an impressive site in Pokhara situated on top of a hill on the southern shore of Phewa Lake. Besides being an impressive sight in itself, the Buddhist shrine is a great vantage point that offers spectacular views of the Annapurna range and Pokhara City.

Seti River Gorges

Carved by Seti-Gandaki, it is one of the natural wonders of Pokhara. K.I. Singh bridge at Bagar, Mahendrapool, and Prithivi highway Bridge near the bus park, provides a perfect view of the river’s dreadful rush and the deep gorge made by the turbulent flow of white water.

International Mountain Museum

This museum is situated on the lap and is one of the most popular museums in Pokhara city. Here you can see historical documents, records, and chronicles of mountaineering. With 8 mountain peaks above 8000 meters, Nepal is leading the list of the highest mountains in the world! It is therefore not surprising to see a large amount of information about the local population, flora, fauna, rocks, and the equipment necessary for climbing. At the museum 6m high rock where you can try it out.

Trip Details

After having a healthy breakfast in the morning, your city tour starts. The awaited car with the driver will be driven to the beautiful sites of the Pokhara valley. Usually, your tour starts from the Bindybasini Temple. The temple is dedicated to the Goddess Durga where Hindu worshippers flock to perform sacrifices, especially on Saturday. Then will take you to the Mahendra Gufa known as the “House of Bats” and Chamere Gufa (Bat’s Cave) is aptly named owing to the number of bats living within its walls. Your next destination will be David’s Fall a charming little waterfall. World Peace Pagoda will be your other place to visit a massif Buddhist Stupa is an impressive site in Pokhara situated on top of a hill on the southern shore of Phewa Lake. The place offers spectacular views of the Annapurna ranges and Pokhara City. The final destination of your city tour will be the International Museum. The museum records, documents, and exits the past and present developments related to mountain and mountaineering around the world. After visiting all of those places we will back to your hotel at approximately 4:00 pm. Later in the evening you can look around the area, chill out may buy some souvenirs.
